Horseshoe Bay

We enjoyed exploring the Horseshoe Bay
area over Spring Break.
The weather our first day was just beautiful,
and we spent much of the day at the pool
and out on LBJ Lake.
Highlights of the trip included jet skiing,
a (cold) boat ride, mini golf,
sports on the great lawn and s'mores
at the fire pit.

Kinder Girl

It was an exciting few weeks
for our kindergarten girl.
Ryleigh was selected on behalf of her
class to receive the school's
"Braggin' on this Dragon" award
for the third semester!
She was given this yard sign,
and her name was announced during
the school's morning announcements!
We are so proud of you and your kind heart,
baby girl.

Taking after her big sister,
her artwork was selected
to be displayed at the town library.
A very cute snowman, indeed.

She also celebrated the 100th day of kinder
by dressing up like a 100-year-old lady...
one of the cutest traditions Walnut Grove has
for the kinder kiddos.
Apparently, Ryleigh plans to spend her retirement
going shopping and enjoying the ocean and the beach.
Not a bad way at all to spend the golden years!!
