"I'm a big kid now"

While we're not into "pull ups" yet, Alexis is becoming a big girl right before our eyes. Lots of changes are happening around here.

Over the past month, the Hamilton household has become binky free. We've said our goodbyes to the swaddle and sleep positioner and hello to a baby who twists and turns and rolls in her crib, usually ending up sleeping on her knees with her cute little butt in the air and her head up against the bumper. 

We have packed away the Bumbo and welcomed the high chair era. 

Lexi endured bedtime bootcamp and came out on the other side. Last night, she slept 12 hours straight (yes, I'm knocking on wood right now!). She gained a new bedtime best friend - Mr. Owl - in the process. 

She's now sitting up on her own.  Her big girl car seat arrived yesterday, and she's sitting forward in her strollers, taking in the world around her and enduring runs with mommy in the jogger. And as a special treat, she has learned to feed herself (as long as she gets a little help in the propping department!)

Yes, lots of milestones in the Hamilton house!!
