Alexis was a hockey groupie for the first time this weekend, watching her dad in action during his men's league tournament. She must be one special fan too because he did something he NEVER has before for me....he skated over to the glass to greet his little follower

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we settled in for some Giants football. Despite our excitement in these pictures, Big Blue was a big disappointment.

Grandpa and I are looking forward to celebrating your first birthday with you and the family.
You're so much fun to play with and very feisty. I love your smile and curiosity (reminds me of your mom). Story time with you also brings back many memories - but right now you like throwing your books on the floor as much as you like reading them.
