15 Months

After playing in the cul-de-sac with Olivia this morning (hurray warmer weather), off we went to Alexis's 15 month well visit. She has always loved Dr. Homa, but today she took it to a whole new level.

As she does a lot these days, she lifted her arms for him to pick her up. He obliged and was thanked with a kiss from our little lady. And not just one, but two kisses on his cheek. Lexi went on to inspect his teeth and smooth his hair. A dad himself, Dr. Homa, took her attention in stride.

He described her as "social", "curious" and "happy"... three adjectives that her parents love to hear. Lexi weighed in at 24 pounds (70%) and was 31.5 inches (80%), clearly still a growing girl! A great visit - at least until Nurse Jessica came in for the shots. There were tears, but they didn't last long. Lexi lost interest in crying as soon as she saw her Garfield band-aids.
Got it!

24 pounds - That's a nice sized thanksgiving turkey.
