Just the three of us

That's how we spent the weekend, Lexi.

And what did we do?

We played

We hit the swingset

We chased you around the house

We had a little dance party

We enjoyed your new favorite - "Ring Around the Rosie"

We took Baby Doll on several walks

We went out to dinner...

where you enjoyed your very first daquiri - virgin, of course,

and your first taste of guacamole.

And you greeted every waiter who walked past you 

along with every other diner at Villa del Sol.

And then we hit the beach.

where you once again greeted everyone you crossed paths with...

You were feeling pretty brave in the water during this visit

(let's just say that daddy is certainly up for the challenge of keeping you safe!)

so we swam,

and we chased the little waves

and you ran from Mommy to Daddy and back again - all in the water

And of course we enjoyed some snacks and some cocktails

By the way, you are such a great sharer. 

You picked up the word "mine"recently, 

but you're always looking out for us and your friends

And then it was time to head home for some burgers

But not before a shower 

and a jump on our bed

(lately you love saying "Night Night" 

and then laying down and pretending to sleep) 

And then Mommy FINALLY put her camera away

And we had a great Father's Day weekend...
