Hard to believe it's December already -
and that my due date is just THREE WEEKS away.
We are very excited for all that's to come,
and we're busy trying to savor the moments - big and small -
between now and then.
Like enjoying a beautiful sunset at the beach
while feeding the seagulls
Or finding the perfect tree to climb
and play hide 'n seek in
Or spending a Sunday afternoon in the yard,
tackling the leaves
And, upon seeing how much fun
a certain three-year-old had with the leaves,
doing it all over again a few weeks later
Never take the simple pleasures
(like jumping in a big ole leaf pile)
for granted, right?
