Celebrating Easter

It was a quiet Easter this year.
Spent here at the house with Nanny and Grandpa.

The girls were a bit too young for church,
so our morning centered around Easter baskets and an egg hunt.

The weather was perfect, and we were outside most of the day.
We planted tulips, put Lexi's new watering can to use,
played duck, duck goose, red light-green light, hide n seek,
broke out the sidewalk chalk, enjoyed the swing set, soaked up the sun,
and Lexi overcame her fear of worms -
which meant her dad was kept busy digging for them for hours just so she could hold them...

but mostly, we gave thanks for a wonderful day with family.
