Easter

We had a nice time celebrating the Easter holiday in Fairfield this year.
Vic and I took the girls to the Pequot Library celebration on Saturday.
They got to see a cute live bunny named Clover.
Ryleigh kept a safe distance from him.
And she tried keeping an even safer distance from the "real" bunny.
We cheered on Lexi as she participated in the egg roll,
inspired by the White House's annual event.
She decided to give it a go in both the 4 and 5 year old age groups.
After dyeing a few eggs and doing an arts and craft,
we called it a day.
Nanny and Grandpa arrived a few hours later.
We all woke up bright and early for an egg hunt and to enjoy Easter baskets.
Lexi declared the holiday even better than Christmas,
because it involved candy.
Both girls got in on the egg hunt action,
and Ry did not put that pez bunny down until bedtime.
P.S. How cute are these dresses I found on sale at Carter's?
Then, we enjoyed a nice brunch at Martel's.
Though we were reminded that going out to eat with a one year old
does not make for a leisurely meal.
Thanks for a great visit mom and dad!
This picture begs the question: "Which is more pressing,
getting a little sun on those legs or getting the paint trim retouched?!!"
