and in the Hamilton house we find ourselves full steam ahead!
Between school carpools, Lexi's practices, games and activities,
organizing Ryleigh's weekly playgroup for UPPA
and joining her and her buddies at The Little Gym,
it's a race to keep things organized back here at the house,
get both Vic and I to Crossfit, and carve out a little me/us time,
much less actually read in advance of book club.
And, I even have one very helpful and involved hubby!
But we know this is only the beginning...
before things really start to get competitive,
before true homework begins,
before Ryleigh bids goodbye to her nap
and welcomes a schedule as busy as her sister's.
So...we will just enjoy the moments as they come.
Grateful to be surrounded by such a welcoming, involved and vibrant community.
And we'll look back to the lazy days of summer a little bit longingly
(minus those 104 degree temps!)
Sisters-friends
Dinner date at Diggs Taco Shop
Summer camp with our neighbor, Sam
Ballet camp
Day 1 she hid behind furniture, not loving it one bit
Day 5 she happily performed in the "recital"
Fun times on our street
Play date at the Four Seasons,
not necessarily mutually exclusive, it seems
Pizza Sunday at the UP Pool
Little does she (or her sister) know we'll be meeting
Minnie in a few short months!!
Last day at the pool,
last time wearing this swimsuit
(hello wedgie, otherwise known as "a witchy" by Lexi ;)
Neighborhood lemonade stand
She plays with the big girls any chance she gets -
without batting an eye
Ice cream delivery to daddy's office
Here, Ryleigh is about to make a few trades
love this kid!
And her little sister too!
