Jingle Bell Rock

Right before the holiday break,

the parents were invited into dance class 

for a special little performance the girls had been working on.

Lexi kept all of the details very under cover as she wanted to surprise us. 

Turns out, the ballet number was to "O Christmas Tree",

and tap was to "Jingle Bell Rock".

While she's just starting to find her dancing stride,

our girl has come a long way from her first class two years ago where she bit a classmate!

She comes from a long line of dancers (her mommy, her aunt and her nanny),

so days like this are so special for us all. 

The group is very cute - she has several classmates/school buddies in there with her,

so she loves Tuesdays! 

And, as you can see from the video, 

she was really feeling the music when it came time for the tap dance -

as she not only danced, but sang her sweet little heart out.

Vic and I were giggling the whole time.

I've since let her know that when it comes time for the fancy recital in May…

there's no singing aloud.

It might be tough for her to hold back though, as this one will be set to a crowd favorite,

"Under the Sea" from the Little Mermaid.
