Thankful

Feeling thankful for so many things this year…
like this super cute birthday boy!
and that our two turkeys are so happy in their new classes this year
also really thankful that American Airlines let us fly home a day early at no charge
so we could play in the snow rather than travel in it
Lexi could have stayed outside ALL DAY LONG
Also feeling thankful for a lovely holiday spent with our extended family.
There's no place like home for the holidays, that's for sure.
I love seeing how much fun our girls have with their
cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents.
It makes the time we spend together even more rewarding.
The girls filled their days with scavenger hunts prepared by Grandpa,
Christmas tree decorating with Nanny, chocolate chip cookie baking
and tea party hosting.
Also feeling thankful that Lexi and I could sneak into New York City with the LaRose's
for a fun filled way to kick off the Christmas season.
We visited Rockefeller Center, did a little window shopping, enjoyed lunch together
and then saw the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.
I still remember going into NYC every winter as a little girl, so I'm thrilled we can create
these same memories for our girls when we go home for a visit.
Ryleigh and Vic had a great day themselves,
spending time with the Hamiltons in Madison.
They had lunchtime visitors, did a little karaoke
and then went to a Christmas parade and saw Santa.
We fit a lot in to our trip and flew back to Dallas
feeling thankful for all the people who made it happen!
