Sledding

Well, this year may have been the anomaly,
but Mother Nature was determined to ensure Texas children
got their fare share of winter fun too.
Just days after our first ice/snow storm,
the white stuff appeared again.
After school, we headed straight outside to play in it,
then met friends at Flag Pole Hill for the best sledding in town.
My girls had a ball and could have stayed out there all night long.
Sweet sweet Olivia, who we brought along with us,
is clearly a "Southern girl".
She got wet feet, and needless to say,
that concluded the sleigh riding for all of us.
