The Year That Was

We are moving full steam ahead
with another school year around here.
Lexi is onto week number 2 of first grade,
and Ryleigh began the Preschool 3's today.
We are already catching a glimpse of just how fleeting these days are,
how quickly the weeks whiz by when you're busy with the daily routine.
And while it's still fresh in our minds,
I wanted to save our very first kinder memories here,
this family's first foray into real, true, all day school.
It was our only year in the HPISD,
and it sure was a great one - filled with sweet traditions,
new friends and lots of learning, reading and fun.
I'm super grateful to one of the class moms who captured
some of the most special moments in this kindergarten video!
