which must explain their enthusiasm
for trying to catch a leprechaun!
Lexi was the mastermind behind the trap design.
Ryleigh was an eager assistant with all that green paint.
I have to give credit where it's due.
They (Lexi) thought of everything:
Gold coins to lure the leprechaun,
Several holes at the top that were chamoflauged
(for him to fall into),
a rope that was even hand knotted
(for him to climb with).
Imagine their surprise the following morning
when they saw that he had paid a visit
and left the girls chocolate wrapped in gold foil…
but also that he had escaped!
Turns out he used the same rope to climb back out of the trap.
Plans are already underway for next year's fool proof design ;)
