Merry Christmas

We made sure to pack the merry

into the month of December

enjoying Vic and Ryleigh's birthdays,

school celebrations 

(complete with a live reindeer),

Christmas caroling around the neighborhood

for the kids followed by a neighborhood

progressive party for the parents,

and a much anticipated visit by Nanny and 

Grandpa where we took a horse and buggy

around town square, listened to the Fort Worth 

Orchestra perform a concert at our church,

explored the magic of the Gaylord Hotel

at Christmastime, drove around town to 

look at all the lights

and had our share of present opening 

and holiday feasting.

Local productions of The Nutcracker 

and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

The rest of our days were spent searching for

then decorating our tree, enjoying Harry the elf's

antics, watching favorite holiday movies,

and spending lots of time playing with the very

best present of all - our new puppy. 

Tis the season for all things merry!
