Her smile, her laughter, her sense of humor, her delicious cooking, her love for family, friends and fun, and those wild dinner parties we still hear stories about - these are just a few of the many qualities that leave a lasting impression. Boy would Lexi have loved her Grandma Lu.
We were home in Sparta on March 30th to remember her together. After church and a family breakfast, Alexis and I stayed in town a bit longer.
She had her first egg hunt with Grandpa Mike and Nanny, and then we were treated to an a cappella concert by family friend Denise and her college singing group. Lexi tried to snap and clap along with them, and then she spent time playing with Jen and Mike (all three are Lu's Godchildren) and chasing their new puppy around the house.
