"The Watergirl"

Alexis has a take charge attitude when it comes to caring for our flowers. Her Nanny and Grandpa showed her how to use the watering can, and it's a new favorite activity of hers. Sadly, sometimes the temptation to pick the very flowers she just watered is too overwhelming. This purple beauty met its demise right after the picture was taken.
Good thing the cherry blossom and dogwood trees are cared for by Mother Nature and not Lexi. They are looking lovely!

Bennett loves the watering can too and was more than eager to help me water EVERYTHING today. Yea we had a blast in ny and made it our mission to do more "authentic" ny things this trip (vs all our other trips which had been much more touristy and shopping based). The odd man was one of the funniest things that happened to us on the trip but I probably didn't do a good job conveying the humor we found in it. :) and, yes, my sister would take a picture anywhere...she was the unofficial photog of the trip which I enjoyed since I didn't have to tote my heavy ole camera everywhere :) thanks for the comment and your house is GORGEOUS!!

Your house looks so beautiful set back and surrounded by the trees.
