A few weekends ago, your daddy and I snuck away to join some of our favorite friends in Newport. More on that below. But what were YOU up to while we were gone?
Apparently, you were quite busy (and quite happy with these guys):
played on the swingset
played in the basement
played with your balls
played outside
played inside
played upstairs and downstairs
made Grandpa Mike pull you MANY times up and down the driveway in your wagon
ate
talked
ate some more
talked some more
took a bath or two
colored on the driveway
went up and down the stairs
built some block towers
played, and played and played
We were also told that Grandpa Mike took a nap on the drive home.
You are a very content and happy little girl, so keeping you busy and having fun isn't hard,
but it sure can be tiring!!
As for your Daddy and I, can you believe that we went on our very first date
16 YEARS ago today?!
We went to the Rockaway Townsquare Mall with our friends Kristin and Mike -
and held hands the whole way home.
When you're a little bit older, we will tell you all the details of how we became a "we".
But for now, here we are on a more grown up "double date"
