Go Go Go

On Sunday, Alexis got the chance to cheer for her father as he ran the Fairfield Half Marathon. True to form, he ran amazingly well and was never all that far behind the Kenyans (I kid you not).

We went to several different locations on the course to provide a little moral support. Alexis yelled "Go Go Go" each time he ran past us. It's a wonderful event, and we always bump into friends as we race all over town, finally ending at the beach.

Before you wonder why Vic is walking around without his shirt on, 

let me explain that he had just finished running 13.1 miles, 

and it felt about 100 degrees that morning. 

But really, who's complaining :) 

After finishing (in one hour and thirty minutes!), it was time to head home and get ready to host a BBQ. We spent the afternoon enjoying time with family and friends. And Vic slept very well that night :)
