A Frightfully Good Time

A few weeks ago, Lexi got an invitation in the mail.

It was to join some of her little friends for a "Frightfully Good Time".

Which meant it was time to decide what her Halloween costume would be.

I asked Vic his opinion, and without having to stop and think, he said "Minnie Mouse".

Perfect...because our sweet girl is a HUGE fan of "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse".

And, by HUGE, I mean: 

she sings the theme song in the car

she somehow spots Mickey and friends wherever we go 

(Mickey sunglasses at Rite Aid, Pluto on a poster at the grocery store,

a Mickey and Minnie sweatshirt on a grown woman at Stop N Shop, and on and on)

she makes all three of us jump up and do the "hot dog dance"

she does roll call when the mood strikes her: Mickey, Minnie, Gooooofy, PluTO, Donald Duck, 

Daisy Duck, Toooodles

Catch my drift?

So, yes, Minnie Mouse was the perfect idea!

All set for Halloween!

Off Minnie and I went to New Jersey to kick off the festivities. 

The kids had a great time, and so did their moms :)

Around 8:30, all the kids started to "turn into pumpkins", 

so it was time to head home.

What a great way to kick off the Halloween season!
