So long Lily

Lily started out as simply a family friend.

But then her parents moved to the area,

and she joined your Little Gym class.

And before we knew it, she was a good buddy of yours,

along with Shane and Tyler. 

She came to your 1st Birthday Party. 

And the four of you learned to walk together.

You went out to lunch together at the diner.

You had tons of playdates at each other's houses. 

You visited the Sprinkler Park together, 

did Ring Around the Rosie with one another, 

and became quite a cute little foursome. 

So it was a very sad day when Lily and her family 

moved down South recently. 

We squeezed one last playdate in, 

so we could bid Lily and her mommy a fond farewell.  

Luckily, we'll still see her when we happen to be 

back home in Sparta together. 

And who knows, maybe she will turn into your very first pen pal!

(even if her parents did go to Duke)
