The Bob

For the last week or two,
Vic has been telling me that Lexi needed a haircut.
It kept falling in her face, and it was always getting tangled.
And let's not forget, it is going to get HOT here this summer.
We met a sweet girl while out to lunch last week.
Her cute bob won me over.
The first chance we got, we headed over to the same hair salon,
and while Lexi was distracted with a movie and a lollipop,
I asked for those long blonde locks to be chopped off.
I thought she might cry.
Turns out, it was me who nearly did.
But she loves it, and so do we all.
It's perfect for summer, ensures that hair brushing is no longer a battle,
and Lexi couldn't be happier
(because she thinks she looks just like Kit...one of the American Girl Dolls.)
