The 4th

Thankful that this year, the 4th of July fell on a Friday.
Who doesn't love a long weekend spent celebrating the red, white and blue?
Just like last year, we met up with the Cocotos family to kick off the holiday
at the Highland Park parade.
Lexi was up and dressed at the crack of dawn, ready to get going.
The Park Cities are wonderful for many reasons, and this parade and the party
afterwards at Goar Park is just one of them.
We spent the afternoon swimming over at the Varley's house.
No pictures is the sign of a good time.
Though we may have been pushing our luck, we decided to chance it and head over
to Bradfield to watch the fireworks with Ava and her family.
Ryleigh and Andrew didn't want to ruin the holiday spirit,
and they rallied well past their bedtimes.
It was the perfect way to end a very full and very fun holiday.
