We love Fall around here,
and we have some favorite fall traditions.
Now that we live in "football nation",
it's only fitting that we've become big fans
of our high school football team.
When it comes to Dragon spirit, Southlake goes all out.
We enjoyed tailgating, yes tailgating, before the games,
then cheering for our team under the Friday Night Lights this fall.
They're just about to start making a run in the play offs!
Oktoberfest in Townsquare is always a favorite event for our family.
This year, dear friends from Dallas joined in on the fun.
It's not October in the Metroplex without a trip to the State Fair!
Because you're never too old for the pumpkin patch,
we visited twice this month.
The girls loved it all - the giant corn maze, the petting zoo where they
fed baby goats, picking out pumpkins and the hot apple cider.
We were especially excited to have Nanny with us during one visit.
And one of our favorite neighborhood traditions
each year is the Halloween Boo'ing.
The girls were thrilled to open the door one evening
and discover that we'd been booed.
They were just as excited to continue the fun
when it was our turn to boo some friends.
