Let's Skate

Lexi made her birthday party wishes clear this year -
roller skating, a Shopkins theme and a sleepover.

So, to celebrate her turning 8,
that's exactly what we did.
There's no denying that the girl is in her element
at ice and roller skating rinks...
it's really fun to watch!
What made me happiest, though, was seeing her
help her sister and friends whenever they needed a hand.

These little ladies all had a great time,
and the birthday girl loved having her dad
out there with her, doing tricks together.

A few buddies came home with us
for ice cream sundaes, a movie and a sleepover.
It was a big success and a lot of fun for all.
8 is great!
