Thankful

We couldn't have been more happy
to have a full house this Thanksgiving.
We were very excited to welcome
all the NJ Hamiltons for the week!
After a sweet little play at Ryleigh's preschool,
and then a hair appointment for some
"fancy hair", it was off to the airport.

We did a good job packing the days full
of fun and adventure…giving our guests
a real taste for life down here in Texas.

Highlights include celebrating Scarlett's birthday,
a visit to Townsquare where we even got to chat with Santa,
a horseback riding lesson for all four girls,
a date night for Vic, John, Kate and I,
lots of baking, a trip to the playground,
a visit to Fort Worth to see the cattle drive,
marshmallows, s'mores and a fire outdoors,
and then of course lots of eating, drinking,
playing and football watching on Thanksgiving Day.
Phew-exhausting.

There were a few stressful hours when Vic and John
tried to convince us they would be spending the holiday
at Cowboys Stadium…but never fear,
those boys would never truly leave their home on
their very favorite holiday.
We can't wait to have everyone back
in the Lone Star State!
