Sweetheart Dance

Vic and the girls went to our town's
Sweetheart Dance last weekend.

Lexi and Ryleigh were so super excited
to pick out fancy dresses, get their hair
curled, put on just a little bit of makeup
and see their daddy all dressed up!

These photos are some of my favorites each year,
because they capture such natural love
and admiration between a father and his
daughters.
What a sweet trio they are.

They joined a bunch of our neighbors
for dinner before heading over to the dance.
The night was filled with lots and lots of dancing
to favorites like "Call Me Maybe",
"Lips Are Moving" and "What Does the Fox Say",
along with a little ride around the parking lot in
a limo, a red carpet photo op
and fun with their daddy and their buddies.

A night like this really fills my mama heart

(even if I wasn't invited).
